At the eastern end of Ocheuteal beach. Big welcome from the Khmer lady who owns Chivas. Beach bars further east all seemed to be owned by relatives. Hop from one bar to another, on a sunny day life doesn't get any better.

Had several great evening happy hours at this bar. Loved the Kmer fire dancing at sunset. Will this be one of the bars to be pulled down in the crackdown on beach encroachment?

I too, would like to know as I have spent time there and belive it is one of the best places in Sihanoukville.
Does anyone know? Does anyone monitor this site?

Chivas shack was still there in August 2005. The golf course is still a long way from completion and I learned the Malaysian sponsor had withdrawn their backing. Good. It will be a sad loss if and when those shack bars disappear.
